The base pack includes:
- Internal frame with 6061 T6 aluminum stay
- External avy tools pocket
- Stretch mesh outer pocket with optional helmet carry
- Ice axe carry
- Picket pocket
- Full side zip
- Hydration port / Radio mic passthrough
- 2 Internal stretch pockets for radio, phone, wallet, keys
Packs should be durable, unobtrusive, and carry well.
To make a pack durable - design for abuse and use durable materials.
To make a pack unobtrusive - give it the features the customer needs and none they don't.
To make a pack carry well - customize the fit and don't skimp on the harness system and frame.

Making high quality products in the USA is expensive - it's even more expensive in Bellingham. We love sewing and designing, and are doing our best to make it a viable income stream. For now we just want to make good stuff that lasts forever. It's pretty cool that we can talk directly with every customer about every detail - and hopefully better products come from that process.

CHALLENGE FABRICS
We use Challenge Ultra for all external panels of the pack. Heavy duty Ultra 800x on the bottom and ice tool area, Ultra 400x on the sides and avy tools pocket, and 200x for the roll top. The stretch pocket and strap linings are Ultra Stretch, a UMHWPE reinforced stretch fabric.
